GyrOSC is a utility designed to transmit the motion data from your device's sensors to any application that supports Open Sound Control (OSC) via Wi-Fi. It enables users to manipulate OSC-compatible audio and video applications by utilizing the movements and tilts of their iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.

The application transmits various sensor data wirelessly, including:

 <li>Gyroscope: {pitch, roll, yaw}</li>
 <li>Accelerometer: {x-axis, y-axis, z-axis}</li>
 <li>Compass: {magnetic heading}</li>
 <li>GPS: {latitude, longitude, altitude, course, speed, time}</li>
 <li>Quaternion: {w, x, y, z}</li>
 <li>Rotation matrix: {m1 ... m16}</li>
 <li>Rotation rate: {x-axis, y-axis, z-axis}</li>
 <li>Gravity: {x-axis, y-axis, z-axis}</li>
 <li>Magnetic field: {x-axis, y-axis, z-axis}</li>
 <li>Altitude: {m, kPa}</li>
</ul>

This application is compatible with a variety of live audio and video programs that utilize OSC messaging. Notable examples include Max/MSP, Pure Data, Processing, and Isadora among others.
